Sonnevanck B&B is a majestic 1923 Cape Dutch-style manor house with oregon and teak interiors where you will experience true Cape Winelands hospitality. Sonnevanck is situated in the peaceful and historic part of town, within walking distance of the CBD, KWV Brandy Cellar and main Route 62 to the Garden Route.
Worcester is a beautiful historic town nestled in the bowl of a range of spectacular mountains and is the economic and service hub of the Breede Valley. It is the most centrally situated town in the Cape Winelands District, just an easy hour's drive from Cape Town, Hermanus, Stellenbosch, Ceres, and Tulbagh. This region is the largest wine-producing area in the country, accounting to 25-percent of the total production. Worcester is home to the 10 top producing cellars with a wide variety of wines for different palates, from award-winning sweet full-bodied muskadels to crisp fruity whites and heart-warming reds.
Sonnevanck B&B provides a large tranquil garden to relax with the company of giant oak trees, a variety of bird life, a large swimming pool, and barbecue facilities. There are also two fireplaces in the central living rooms to warm the winter nights for guests to enjoy.
All seven bedrooms are newly renovated and available with full en-suite bathrooms, TVs with local channels, heated towel rails, heaters, mobile fans and tea and coffee-making facilities. Guests have a choice of one self-catering unit, accessible via a private staircase, or six bed and breakfast rooms. In addition, we offer various breakfasts to choose from including farmhouse, continental and vegetarian, served in the dining room or on the patio.
