Springbokpan Guest Farm is the nearest guest farm to the border of Botswana at McCarthy's Rest Border Post. Our aim is to provide guests with maximum comfort, best accommodation and to make every holiday trip an experience to treasure and definitely repeat. Accommodation is offered in thatched Chalets and campsites. The Chalets are situated between the Kameeldoring trees and offer peace and privacy. For those who wish to camp out with their own tent or caravan, our campsite offers an ablution block with hot water showers, braai facilities and a huge campfire area. We also have a bar, a cocktail lounge and a restaurant on site, as well as a communal kitchen, braai area and TV area with DStv. Parking is available and guests can relax around our cement dam. Laundry and internet facilities are both available and we can assist with booking day drives.

A little bit of heaven by

What a wonderfully warm reception after a very long two days in the car. Clean ablutions, and a really exquisite environment made us wish that we had booked for more than just an over night stop. Our hosts were so accommodating and helped us out when we were in a spot. They took the time to find and show our children the desert rain frog, enriching what would have been a simple overnight stay for us. Thank you! We would definitely recommend this.



We camped at the above for 1 night en route to Botswana. Our campsite was clean, with firewood provided. The ablution block was clean, shower worked well with plenty of hot water.

Very convenient and comfortable with good braai facilities. Value for money. Second time for us and would recommend as a stop before the border.

Clean facilities, even kitchen with fridge, stove, utensils!!

Comfortable chalets by

The braai-lappa was great and well protected against wind. Require some attention to detail such as blocked drain of public shower and also blocked drain of basin in chalet.

The braai in the Lapa by

A faulty electricity system and no back up facility ruined our stay. No lights, no warm water although management went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Kudu fillet steaks obtained at the farm was excellent and uplifted our spirit when prepared in the braai Lapa.

Expected more for the price by

Wasn't impressed. We stayed in a half finished container type of unit - no doors inside, not even the bathroom. Terrible mattress. Gass geyser not working properly. Over priced.

Fantastic bush camp by

Great boma with firewood provided and clean bathrooms - an oasis after rough camping in Botswana and very conveniently close to the border at Mcarthys Rest.
