St Moritz Guest House is situated in a gracious Victorian mansion that lies in the heart of Cape Town's city bowl with Table Mountain as its backdrop. This secluded area, known as Gardens, has beautiful views over the city and Table Bay and is in close proximity to Kloof and Long Street which provide guests with easy access to many of Cape Town's finest restaurants.
The guest house comprises two private suites that have been tastefully renovated, incorporating all the modern amenities for a traveller's requirements. Suite 1 is a spacious room with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The room is equipped with a satellite TV, a secure safe for valuables, bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities and high speed Internet on request. Guests have a private entrance with a security system installed.
Suite 2 is a spacious room with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower with glorious views of Table Mountain. The suite has a dining area and kitchenette with a microwave, toaster oven and bar fridge. There are French doors that open out onto a garden patio with a spectacular view of Table Mountain. Guests have their own private entrance with a security system installed.
One of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions is the V & A Waterfront which evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies.
