Stone Meadows Country Estate is situated between the beautiful Magaliesburg and Witwatersrand mountain ranges in the sleepy hollow of Buffelsfontein, lies Stone Meadows Country Estate. Within easy reach from the town of Rustenburg 30 minutes and Krugersdorp 60minutes.

Stone Meadows is accessible, yet remains pleasantly isolated from the hustle and bustle of town and city life. It is ideal for relaxing, restoring depleted batteries and breathing in some good, healthy fresh unpolluted country air.

Whether for a weekend break, or longer term use as a base whilst exploring the areas other delights, we have comfortably furnished cottages in a tranquil, serine environment, which you will find a comfortable home away from home.

The prolific birdlife, as well as small game including bush pig, buck, baboon, monkey, jackal, leguaan, cerval and leopard have all been sighted locally and make watching or walking a pleasurable and exciting experience, permanently complemented by a song of birds from early hours of the morning to sun downing calls of crickets and frogs.

Equestrians an absolute joy for Horsy People, Stone Meadows boasts horses to suit every standard of rider. Eleanor, the owner, is a qualified BHS instructor and is keen to teach you, upgrade you, take you trekking in the surrounding countryside on a variety of out rides to suit your time and skill requirements for the extra keen risk taker we offer and enthralling bareback swim on our horses in the lake. This is only permitted if there are no fishermen on site.

Pack yourself a picnic or even just your drinks and come sit on the lake wall and watch the ?majestic sun' set over the Magaliesberg Mountains.

The lake on the property contains a variety of species for the 'Complete Angler', whilst also doubling as a refreshing boating and swimming hole for the more adventurous. Swimming in the dam is only permitted if there are no fishermen on site. Fishing is catch and release.

Those not as keen for swimming in the lake, come cool down in our crystal blue pool overlooking the lake and be mesmerized by the views around. There is also a trampoline below the pool area; kids must be monitored by an adult when jumping.
