Suaimhneas is ancient Irish for ?serenity? and is a wonderful and modern self-catering flat situated on the tranquil and sought after island in Sedgefield - your ideal holiday accommodation option.

The unit has its own separate entrance and consists of two bedrooms; each bedroom can sleep two guests in a double and twin beds respectively. The two bedrooms are serviced by a shower bathroom. Linen and furnishings are of top quality and the unit's living area features a cosy open-plan lounge complete with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen contains a convection oven and is fully equipped for self-catering. Outside there is a small private garden and a built-in braai facility.

You'll be located in a great place to enjoy water sports such as boating and canoeing, and if you're more into relaxing, there are plenty nature trails and beautiful lakes to explore. It is also a haven for birders. Further up the N2 guests can find the lovely town of Knysna and George where they can find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Really enjoyed our stay in Sedgefield at Suaimhneas self catering. Comfortable rooms and beds. Close to a great weekend market and the lake. Thanks to the great hosts.



Friendly hosts and very neat and clean accommodation.
The braai and grid was not cleaned.

 The hostess did not respect our privacy, for  example, she started at 8:00 to prepare the room for the next guests and remove the linen on the morning of our departure date, whilst we were still packing and getting ready to leave. She did not respect the check out time of 10:00, which we found to be very intrusive.
