Thaba Monate Game Lodge is situated between Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) and Modimolle (Nylstroom) in the province of Limpopo, nestling in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains with excellent weather and year-round sunshine and seasonal rain. This premier resort is renowned for its facilities in a magnificent and awe-inspiring reserve spreading over just over 350-hectares that is characterized by its unspoiled natural environment, wildlife, and relaxed atmosphere under a star-studded African sky.

Note that prices per chalet include only one under roof parking. (1 vehicle) per chalet.

Our 4 sleeper chalets have 1 room with a double bed and an upper loft room with a bunker bed (2 single beds on top of each other) Please do not move furniture. Own braai area. Please note, towels are not provided. Maximum of 4 people. 2 Adults & 2 Kids
Our 6 sleeper chalets have 2 rooms with a double bed in each room and an upper loft room with 2 separate single beds. Please do not move furniture. Own braai area. Please note, towels are not provided. Maximum of 6 people. 4 Adults & 2 Kids
PLEASE NOTE: There are no TVs in the chalets. No warm water swimming pools
Camping Sites: Please note we don't supply tents or caravans (EMPTY STANDS)
Our Rooibok camping stands are in an open camp (where the antelopes walk through the camp), approximately 12m² in size and within walking distance from our facilities & (swimming pools) One stand includes only one vehicle and only allows camping for 6 people,1 tent or, 1 small caravan per stand. Shared ablutions. Nyala is only available during peak season. Electric points at every stand. No rooms or beds on the stands.
Whereas the Nyala camping stands are approximately 1 km away with a small swimming pool and are 10m² in size in a fenced camp. One stand includes only one vehicle and only allows camping for 6 people,1 tent or, 1 caravan per stand. Shared ablutions. Nyala is only available during peak season. Electric points at every stand. No rooms or beds on the stands

Weekend stay by

We had a pleasant stay in a 3 bed chalet. Although one can see these chalets were built 25 years back it is very clean and neat. I would like seeing them upgrade the bathrooms and linen. Nice people/staff. Manager Pierre very professional and customer orientated. I will most definitely visit them again.

The weekend was very nice and the view was amazing. The facilities are great. Will come again and will recommend to friends and family.

There is quite a bit of improvement can be done. Did not have anything No ice creams Unable to have milkshakes at the restaurant Card machines not working Game drive is a waste of money as there is a lack of game. Fridges broken Unable to play putt putt due to having no balls. Very disappointing for a very expensive stay! Thank you
