The Cliffs Tyger Waterfront offers executive self-catering apartments at the exclusive Tyger Waterfront development in Cape Town. The modern, fully equipped apartments are available for short-term stays and boast beautiful views of the waterfront and surrounds.

Each apartment consists of two bedrooms with full bathrooms and the rooms are furnished with double and twin beds. Each apartment also has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with tea and coffee facilities. The apartments have DStv, DVD players, radios and under-floor heating, as well as panel heaters.

All the apartments have balconies with great views. The apartments are serviced on weekdays 10h00 and 15h00 excluding public holidays and have alarm systems, as well as secure undercover parking bays. Guests can make use of the swimming pool, the gymnasium and the sauna on site, adding to a luxurious experience.

Tyger Waterfront offers a choice of restaurants that cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Willowbridge Lifestyle Centre and Tygervalley Shopping Centre are located less than five minutes away and offer a wide range of shops and entertainment options. Specialised requirements could be accommodated by prior arrangement and extended stays are negotiable.

Weekend stay by

We got there at 11pm and everything was arranged for us to ensure that there was no waiting period for our room keys. The management was friendly and helpful and they tried to make everything as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed our stay so much that we already planning a return visit to the Cliffs.

JUST THE VIEW OVER THE WATER by

I AM NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT OUR STAY!!! IT IS OUR THIRD TIME 1. THE STANDING FAN WAS BROKEN WHEN WE ENTER THE ROOM- it was not checked before 2. the calling system never working (maybe 4 times only) we always had to wait until somebody come out..terrible!!! 3. the first toilet was broken,,the water never stop running 4. The wifi maybe worked once!!! and I to do all my business on my emails, very frustrating !!!!! 5.the lift was also not working the Thursday evening when we came in at 12h00. i am not happy at all about this stay we were there also in November and then did the wifi also not work!!!!!! i insist on a refund!!!!!!!!! or i will put all of this on FB and TRIP ADVISOR greetings S Schoeman

Well situated, but a couple of concerns:- Lack of utensils in unit Door to main bedroom on balcony did not lock Access to complex was frustrating, had to wait for security to see us on camera and then they would open bottom door to get access to lifts

Good Location by

The apartment is big and have a nice location(near willobridge,Tygervalley and N1). My telephone number was not 'programmed' to work correctly to enter the building. However, the apartment manager SJ was helpfull and showed us the 'alternative'. I would have loved a meet and greet instead of me having to figure out on my own how things work via an SMS(Please note, roaming from a foreign number to SA is expensive so it's not that I can constantly phone for assistance without this costing me a fortune). The wifi worked fine for the first 2 days. After the rain, for some reason it stopped working(No fault of anybody). Our rooms were cleaned each day, however I found traces of the cleaner using the facilities(for example the microwave) during our stay. I did not feel the comfort that our 'goods' were safe and would have preferred the cleaner not to have used facilities during our stay, or better only cleaned the room once we have left.(after 4 days). I have stayed with the cliffs before and apart from the inconvenience of using your phone to gain entrance and a non personal(no meet and greet) experience while checking in, all was fine and it is a lovely place to stay. I was not happy with the unit was not clean had used towels. The bathroom door patched the carpet as not a problem but it needs care. Prefer the Cliffs

Thank you very much. We loved the place. Everything was perfect. The only little thing , if there could be some kind of trolley for the luckage, it was a bit difficult to carry everything from our parking spot to the lift, but further on everything was awesome. Thank you

the apartments were well furnished and clean..however the agent was rude and disrespectful..id advice more professionalism on that part.

Home away from Home by

I liked the location of the Cliffs, the view and the fact that its so quite. I was able to study without being disturbed. The flat is beautiful, however the following need attention: 1. Kitchen tiles are so dirty, must be replaced. 2. Blinds on the sliding door to the balcony must be replaced. 3. There is a leak in the kitchen between washing machine and fridge. 4. Fridge needs attention, it freezes everything. 5. DSTV, only SABC2 channel is available from 3 SABC channels which I find very disturbing. Other than the above I had a pleasant stay and, I am planning a family holiday at The Cliffs for December.

Hassle and discomfort by

I really expected more from a place run by an agency. upon our arrival we just had a bad experience. First they gave us a room that I did not book for. instead of a double room with double bed and two single beds we got a single room with double bed. while we were told to wait in the room until they sort our the confusion the real guest of the room arrived and found us standing in his apartment. We eventually got our apartment, but found that it was so invested with cockroaches. On the last night there was apart in the apartment next door which I did not mind, but had to call security to quiet them down at 2am as we did not get any sleep. Against the fridge door there was a not warning about a fine for noise after 23:00. My question, when and to who does this rule apply.

Really loved the view and that i had everything at my disposal from an iron to a washing machine.Im definately going to come back next month. Maybe a young tour of the building and its facilities would be appreciated.
