Brilliant place to stay by

We had a great time in St Lucia. The gardens at the Estuary guest house were nothing short of superb. As a keen gardener I loved walking through the paths every day. The management were professional and the whole operation runs smoothly with any queries attented to immediately. Thanks for a lovely time and God bless you.

Nice by

Very nice garden and flat. Lily and her husband greeted us every morning with a smile. I will definitely stay here when.

RUDE RUDE by

The lady was soooo rude to me over the phone that actualy opted to go book into a different place. So rude and appauling was her treatment that i forfieted R500 of my hard earned money rather than subjecting myself to further ill treatment from her.

Great swimming pool by

The swimming pool is situated in a lovely garden. At the end of the garden there is a view of the estuary. I have stayed in The Estuary Guest Chalets three times and will probably return.

Definitely the trip through iSimangeliso to Cape Vidal and the fantastic day at Cape Vidal by

We were satisfied with the accommodation. It is scary when the electricity goes down and there is no water but thankfully this was only for a few hours and the Estuary has a generator. St Lucia is a gorgeous little place with such character and wonderful restaurants. Definitely recommend Baracca. Ria is a character and it is easy to misunderstand her if you don't know her. She was pleasant and accommodating. All in all a great weekend.

St Lucia relaxation by

Loved the location as it was walking distance from all shops and restaurants. Parking bays not very suv/bakkie friendly and did find it a bit unnerving that there's absolutely no security. Also had issues with the stove that didn't work properly and the lounge chairs became a bit uncomfortable after a while. Other than that a pretty enjoyable stay as we had everything we needed within the unit. Really enjoyed all the outings and tours St Lucia has to offer.

Beautiful set up by

Lovely modern cottage

Nothing by

The kitchen is not good. Cupboards are broken,no oven ,very slow cooker top and very few dishes and utensils. Also tv doesn't work. Fridge iced up and really awful pillows.no generator if there is a power failure.

Great stay by

Thank you, Ria. We had a wonderful stay with you at the Estuary Guest house. Everything was neat and clean. The little town was so easily accessible from the chalets. It was so convenient.

Comfortable and clean ( serviced daily), good location by

There are many cute stray cats hence strong smell of cat urine in one of the cottages. The monkeys can be disturbing in the mornings when they run on the roof! Ria's customer service is at times lacking.

weekend St Lucia by

It was a basic accommodation, but fine for the purpose

St Lucia Experience by

This review is rather hard to write as on the whole the staff especially the supervisor were very supportive and helpful after a really annoying break into our Chalet on the first day Access was gained through forcing open a bedroom window. All our clothes, laptop and baggage was taken while we were at the beach. I do think the owners need to up their game when securing access to the property as unsuspecting foreign tourists like us who thought by locking the chalet was sufficient proved not to be the case. Owners did not offer to help replacing any of our stolen items. Especially since all we had left was the clothes we had on. The supervisor did help in calling the police and we were moved into another chalet. We have heard nothing further from the owners or the police about this incident.

Peaceful, quite and easy access to all ameneties by

Even though it was located in the centre of town

Leaving by

They need to buy a new mattress for the main bedroom. The mattress is completely worn through. There was a awful sewage smell when you opened the bathroom window and in the main bedroom cupboard. When I reported this to the hostess she was not really interested. Very disappointing weekend.

The chalet by

The chalet was good and clean. First day service was not good but the second and last day was beautiful

Great pleace to stay by

We were 4 families with 7 children and staying here was perfect. We had 3 flats close each other so it was easy to stay together The pool was very clean and amazing for the children We really reccomend it
