Has the Karoo's siren call beckoned you to linger? Now you can rest your weary head here at The Ibis Lounge with a choice of three accommodation rooms; Karoo Room, Amore Room and the Happy Room. Be welcome, and enjoy true Karoo hospitality.All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, DStv and coffee making facilities. During summer, our guests can cool off in our private swimming pool and towels are provided. A large stoep boasts a fire pit and our walled garden offers privacy.The Ibis Lounge is open for meals for guests. It has a diverse menu that includes burgers, pitas, steaks, pasta and curry. A variety of coffees are served, and all baked goods are created on the premises. A roast is served up on Sundays.The Ibis Lounge shop stocks a range of funky, fresh and stylish items with a Karoo theme, such as windmills, donkeys, barbed wire and owls. Only South African-sourced, high-quality goods are stocked. These are quirky, individual and handmade by artisans to be treasured.

The Ibis a Lounge has everything that a visit to Nieu Bethedsa needs - great location, a little restaurant for lovely homemade breakfasts, a pool and the warm hospitality of the owner Terry. The Karoo Room opens onto the pool of high makes it the pick of the rooms. Thanks for making our wedding stay such fun.

We arrived WAY past the checkin time, Terry was waiting with our pre-ordered feast and a lovely glass of wine to calm the nerves after the bumpy road down into the Valley.
The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed, down to the Lunchbar snack!
Breakfast on the stoep was delicious. Best Oats I've had in a loooong time. The coffee put the required amount of hair on my fiances chest to tackle The Owl House (a mere 50m down the road) and the drive to Kimberley.

Thank you Ibis Lounge, for the home away from home! We WILL be back!

We were only here for one night to attend a wedding in the village but the room was just right, comfortable and had everything we needed. Well appointed and clean and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was very good.
