The Island Cottage Self-Catering is a self-contained cottage situated in the town of Sedgefield. The beautiful seaside village is located between George and Knysna on the Garden Route. It is entirely surrounded by lakes, sand dunes, fynbos and pine plantations, as well as the Swartvlei estuary and the Indian Ocean.

The house consists of two spacious bedrooms and one shared bathroom. All linen is provided as well as a baby cot. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with a TV and a DVD player. Outside is a small patio and a garden for kids to play in.

The surrounding area has lovely forest hiking trails and the only fresh water lake in the district, Groenvlei. The lake lies to the east of Sedgefield and is popular for bass fishing. Sedgefield is a paradise for those who love the outdoors and water sports.
