The relaxed atmosphere is often enough for our guest and with the latest communications technology in our rooms, you can be sure that your ideas don't get lost in the rarefied Free State air.

Our guest house has a total of 53 rooms including 23 Deluxe Rooms with king-size beds and four Executive Rooms with king-size beds. There are three Family Rooms with double and single beds, and we have four Self-catering Rooms and 19 Twin Rooms.

We have three conference rooms; they are all fully equipped with TVs, flip charts, white screens, digital overhead projectors and air-conditioning. We host a lot of conferences and workshops and receive good feedback. We strive towards service excellence and professionalism. We have a lovely swimming pool area with a bar and restaurant, and there is ample off-street parking available.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to rate this hotel. To start with, it is in a town called Bethlehem, not in business-centre cities. The pro's to staying at this lodge: The beds were great (hard) and we slept extremely well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were neat and cleaned properly every day. The cons: Rooms are a bit small (my husband is 1,97 m tall and big-built), it was difficult for him - shower and toilet had little space. Breakfast staff, although very good and always writing down our orders, added food we did not order. Coffee was bad (weak). Breakfast staff was loud and noisy in the kitchen. Wanted a quiet breakfast before a very busy day ahead. Thank you!

Was not to overly happy the room was nice but not worth the money we paid there was no water in the rooms we had to paid for it our self there was no tea spoons and then my husband had to go fetch one it was plastic! The breakfast was horrendous the sausage was a chicken Vienna the mushrooms was cold the toast was cold I didn't eat it the first or second day just had cornflakes and nor did my husband paying 1500 a night so 3000 for two nights there is a couple of things that need to be done for the loft.
