The Place Resort

This is a beautiful 15-acre resort situated on the shores of Tokeh Beach, in Sierra Leone. There is a dramatic backdrop of thick forest and a fascinating variety of our flowers and fruit, including coffee and cocoa.We offer 50 luxury chalet suites with private verandas and lovely views of the ocean or mountains. Attentive and friendly staff are ready to assist with all guests' needs. Guests can take a dip in the large swimming pool or relax on the sandy beach under the shade of large palm trees, while admiring the gentle waves lapping at the shore.We have converted our passion for food into three restaurants and bars. The Aquarelle Restaurant combines modern African cuisine with French influences, highlighting fresh fish and seafood caught daily. The casual High Tide Bar and Bistro offers exciting and colourful cuisine with an Italian-Mediterranean theme. With several facilities to accommodate conferences from 10 to 200 people, including break-out spaces, your event can really shine. From a wedding party right on the beach, through to a champagne reception under the stars, there is a wealth of choices to create the perfect setting on that special day.
