The Red Tin Roof is a charming manor house and restaurant, situated in Riebeek Kasteel, one of the oldest towns in South Africa.

There are five guest rooms available with private entrances and patios. All the rooms feature double beds, en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, fans, as well as bath oils and soaps.

Guests can relax in the lovely lounge area with comfy couches, tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge and a large fireplace. There are beautiful French doors leading out to the tranquil grounds and pool area.

The restaurant serves delicious boerekos with a twist, sourced locally and infused with the flavours of the Swartland.

Absolute gem by

We enjoyed our stay so much! When we arrived we received complimentary sparkling wine, which was unexpected and immediately made us feel welcome. It was a sunny day and we took a dip in the pool while enjoying our drinks. The friendly staff brought us towels and then we had to get ready for a wedding. The room is nice and spacious with a massive shower. The room looked clean, beautiful and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

RED TIN ROOF is great. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The food is good, the staff are super. Riebeek Kasteel is a lovely dorp. The Africa room is a bit dark, and the cushions on outside stoep need a clean.
