The Rose House is located on a 580-hectare farm outside of Fouriesburg. The farm has been renovated to its former glory with a new vineyard. There are five different cottages on the farm that provide either bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation.
The Garden Cottages have either queen-size beds or twin beds. The bathrooms are en-suite with baths and showers. The cottages have living rooms with inviting fireplaces for the colder days.
The Vegetable Garden Fatlet has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. It overlooks the vegetable garden that provides the produce for the café and small farm shop.
The two Barn Units each have two en-suite bedrooms. The units have fireplaces for the winter months as well as panel heaters. There is a kitchen for self-catering and a dining area where guests can enjoy their meals. The units also feature verandas with braai facilities. Please note, only the Barn units are self-catering.
The Rose Hip Café is established in a renovated barn on the farm and offers a light lunch menu from Tuesday to Sunday. This is a great option for those who would prefer not to cook or travel for some of the time. As there are no TVs, guests are able to relax and unwind and partake in walking, cycling or running, without the interruption of the world. The surrounding mountains are perfect for hiking during the daytime.
