THE TREE HOUSE REVIEWS (93 %) Lovely stay by Christine Van Der Ahee, South Africa 09 July 2015 We had a fantastic time at The Tree House. The house is located right at the edge of Leisure Island, with perfect views of the Knysna lagoon as well as both the Knysna heads. The house itself is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very neat and clean, with all the amenities (including satellite TV, which was a bonus). The owners are right next door on the same property, so they are always available if one would ever need something --- but they respect your privacy and let you do your own thing (which is great). Leisure Island is wonderfully situated in the sense that it is outside the hustle-and-bustle of the town center, but still close enough to all the shops and places-of-interest. It was lovely and private, the bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the lounge/deck area could not have been better. We will definitely be back. The view is simply breathtaking and one which we felt very very loathe to leave. We will most definitely be back. Just one very small complaint - the supply of toilet paper would really be expected from accommodation of this class. Thanks again Maureen and David Whittaker Ryno Verster, South Africa 15 January 2017 We arrived at 2 o clock - the time that we are supposed to arrive. The house was still very dirty - there were people cleaning but we were very disgusted as we supposed to check in in a clean house. There excuse was that the previous people left very late - but that was not our problem. The carpets were very very dirty - it smelled like smoke and damp ?? The drawers were dirty inside and not cleaned. They only left after 4 and we only then had privacy. Behalf of that the place can be nice but we will not return there or recommend the place.
