In the heart of the Garden Route, Natures Valley lies at the foot of the Grootrivier Pass, 30 km east of Plettenberg Bay. Where the world renowned ?Otter Trail' ends, Natures Valley lies nestled between land and sea, and is arguably South Africa's most beautiful and tranquil destination. Think of dense forest, mountains, cliffs, rugged coast, sandy beaches, rivers, waterfalls, lagoons and a picture of Natures Valley may start to form.

Alongside all this natural beauty, countless activities are on offer such as hiking, fishing, bungee jumping and surfing. In this exquisite location, we offer simple and stylish accommodation in our timber home, where our family has lived and run a bakery for the past 36 years.

The bed was very comfortable and the linen clean. The owner is friendly and the fact that this guest house is right next to the restaurant also helps.

The perfect family getaway by

The Woods is conveniently situated close to the sea and right next to the shop and restaurant, yet still quiet and peaceful, with the sound of birdlife all around. And we loved those friendly wagtails that visited inside! The cottage had all the necessities and we were comfortable. This was our fifth stay in Natures Valley, the first time with our baby, and we will keep coming back, because it truly is SA's most beautiful and tranquil destination

Where do I begin singing the praises of this absolute gem of a getaway?! I actually do not want to out of fear that next time I want to return it'll be all booked up! Hiking trails on your doorstep, sublime beach, dozens of places to go, things to do. By far the best value for money in Nature's Valley. And I simply love the hosts, Dawn and Ken.
