2 Night Kruger Park TourKruger National Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa Safari Package from R 3,077 (family units from R 6,155) | R 3,077 |
Journey with us through the world-renowned Kruger National Park for a very special safari experience, put together by Safari experts and people who have lived and worked in the Kruger National Park!
During your ?Out of Africa? safari you will enjoy the company of a qualified, experienced guide who will share his knowledge of the bush with you. Your private ?Bush Chef? and his assistant accompanies your safari in their own vehicle, to set up your private ?catering camp? with dining tent, tables, chairs and bush kitchen, and on the days that brunch in the bush is planned, will set up and meet you at the picnic spot with mouth-watering food ready and prepared!
You will travel mainly on the smaller dirt roads of the 3,000km road network found in the Kruger Park, in our specially adapted, 4x4 open safari vehicle, accompanied by one of our experienced guides.
We have specialist knowledge of where the animal congregations are according to the season, and where to find them ? especially the large gatherings of zebra and wildebeest from September onwards. We visit viewpoints with amazing vistas of savannah and bush as far as the eye can see.
After rusks and coffee we leave for a very early morning drive, searching for the original ?Big 5? that the Kruger Park is famous for, as well as sightings of other game, birds and other natural wonders of the unspoilt bush.
A real safari bush brunch is catered by your personal Bush Chef and his assistant, and may be enjoyed at one of the many picnic spots, or in camp at our ?catering camp? which is set up under a large tent providing all the comforts you would expect at meal times.
During the heat of the day, we relax in camp where you have the choice of accommodation in extremely well fitted private Safari tents, or in camp bungalows with air conditioning. Explore the camp facilities, or join the animals in having a siesta.
After tea/coffee served by your chef, we leave for a late afternoon safari, searching for game, enjoying the truly magnificent African sunset, and the onset of dusk when nocturnal animals start to stir.
We return to camp at camp gate closing time (which is half an hour later than the main gate closing times). Our catering camp is set up for pre-dinner drinks, followed by an authentic South African 3-course dinner prepared by the chef and his assistant. End off your evening around the camp fire under the canopy of the brilliant southern stars, sharing stories with your guide and enjoying the unique night sounds of the African bush.
DAY 1
Arrive in Hazyview where your Guide and Open Safari Vehicle will be waiting for you. We depart at 13h00 and enter the Kruger National Park, where your safari adventure starts with an afternoon game drive!
Late afternoon we check in at one of the camps, either into bungalows or our private safari tents. The Bush Chef and his assistant is waiting for you to serve pre-dinner drinks (for own account). A delicious three-course dinner is served in the ?catering camp?, and afterwards we end off the evening under the Southern stars, listening to the sounds of the African bush.
DAY 2
We get up very early, and after some tea/coffee and rusks, we get going to have the best chance to see animals, especially the big cats. Mid-morning we stop for a hearty brunch prepared by our chef - either at the catering camp or at a picnic site in the bush.
During the heat of the day, we return to camp to relax. Once the day has cooled down we head out for another game drive, returning at camp gate closing time. Another delicious South African dinner awaits you!
DAY 3
Once again we head off for a game drive before sunrise, searching for the Big 5 and everything else this world-renowned game park has to offer. After another mid-morning brunch we depart the Kruger National Park in time to meet your transfer or flight.
ADDITIONAL NIGHTS:
We travel through the Kruger National Park, following the natural congregations of animals according to season. A longer safari affords the opportunity to travel some of the more unknown, secluded areas of the park, along some of the smaller dirt roads of the vast 3,000km road network in the Kruger National Park. Longer safaris also offer the opportunity to explore the northern regions of the park, with their own individual vegetation and wildlife.
