The property has one cottage available at the moment which can comfortably sleep four people. The Afsaal Cottage is situated in a private garden overlooking the horse paddock. This cottage has two lovely bedrooms, a cosy sunroom and a kitchenette.

From Tiggywinkle, there is easy access to wonderful mountain biking routes, hiking trails, wine tasting, open-water swimming and canopy tours.

Tranquil & Heavenly by

My family and I visited Grabouw over the Easter weekend and stayed at the beautiful Tiggywinkle Cottages. First off I have to say that the owners are wonderful. Very hospitable and friendly.

Our cottage was stunning with absolute attention to detail. Nothing was amiss at all. It was clean and everything was provided for. We awoke in the morning to horses peering over from the paddock.

Overall it was a weekend of reconnection & peace. Each one of us achieved this & we are very grateful.  Many thanks for an awesome experience.

We loved our stay at Tiggywinkle! The host, the cottage, the setting - all wonderful. Perfect getaway spot.

Perfect weekend getaway! by

Our children (8 and 11) were already planning our next visit on the drive home! The setting of the cottage is lovely, in a peaceful garden with pets to play with including chickens and horses. It is well equipped. The host is very welcoming and helped make our weekend special. There is lots to do in Grabouw with great mountain biking very close to Tiggywinkle and horse riding a short drive away. An hour's drive from Cape Town, perfect for a weekend away.
