Tivan Safaris is a private lodge and caravan camp located 100 km outside Lephalale/Ellisras, about 20 km from the Grobler's Bridge border post. The lodge is set in a quiet and peaceful woodland setting, the ideal place to escape the busy city life.

We offer three self-catering units and 10 caravan- and tent sites on grass with clean ablution facilities. Each of the self-catering units has a barbecue with two packs of wood provided per day. For group bookings, there is a clubhouse with a bar- and braai area, as well as fully equipped kitchen facilities.

There are a variety of unique bird life, different wildlife species and a dam for catch-and-release fishing enthusiasts. Guests can also enjoy walking trails, cycling and horse-back riding.

Great stay! by

Was very good accommodation - perfect after a long, hot day on the road. Had everything we needed.

Baie lekker gekuier by Nadia. Kan dit baie sterk aanbeveel! Ons sal verseker graag weer daar wil bly. Johan en Elize Snyman, Bloemfontein.

Beautiful Dam by

The surroundings were beautiful. A pity about all the "paper thorns" - really a problem. Ablution : good, but REALLY need a lock on the doors. First time we've ever seen Hot Water Toilets! On the whole, stay was good.

TIVAN SAFARIS by

Stayed there twice on the way to Zambia, as well as on the return trip. The camp site is beatifully maintained, and the ablution blocks clean and tidy WITH hot water! The chalet that we stayed in on our way back was excellent. Clean, with everything you need. The animals we saw that came to drink water, was an absolute bonus. Will recommend it definately
