Set in a picturesque valley in mid-Cornwall in England, Tregolls Farm is a family-run farm of 107 acres, the main enterprise being cattle and sheep, with some arable crops. Tregolls Farm offers a selection of delightful self-catering cottages, sleeping from four to eight people, or the alternative of bed and breakfast accommodation in the farmhouse.
All of our cottages have central heating throughout, with the addition of a log burner, except Rose Cottage, making them ideal for early and late season breaks. Cornwall's mild climate through the autumn, winter and spring brings the wildlife to the riverbanks and shorelines, while in the spring the Cornish flora and fauna litter the coastal paths, hedgerows and winding lanes and should not be missed.
The four cottages have been tastefully converted from redundant farm buildings into well-equipped holiday homes, with the traditional charms of mellow beams and other features. The open-plan living areas offer wonderful views of the open countryside, with cows and sheep grazing and the stream meandering through the valley. The bedrooms are downstairs and some also have doors leading out onto the patio.
Each cottage features a four poster bed, except for Rose Cottage, a dishwasher, fan oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, TV with freeview, DVD and video player, and a radio and CD player. The cottages also boast a private garden area with a picnic table, and have central heating and hot water. The bathrooms contain baths and power showers. In addition, a cot, high chair and stairgate are available for children. At Tregolls Farm we also offer barbecue facilities, a games room and children's play area, a laundry room, payphone, Wi-Fi broadband Internet connection, and a pets corner where guests can bottle-feed lambs and collect fresh farm eggs.
Cornwall offers a wide selection of quality tourist attractions, ranging from the various farm and adventure parks to the splendour of the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock, St Michael's Mount and Trerice. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short drive away, with the unspoilt harbour at Charlestown also close by. Nearby towns include Padstow, Bodmin and Wadebridge.
