Tshukudu Bush Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. It is two and a half hours from Johannesburg and 15 kilometres from the Pilanesberg Airport.
The lodge offers six splendidly decorated chalets, as well as four luxurious suites. Each one of the chalets has a private balcony which looks out over the park and the waterhole. Guests have the luxury of lounges with fireplaces, fully-stocked minibars and tea and coffee facilities.
A continental buffet is served on the deck, and your hot breakfast meal can be ordered through the kitchen. A light lunch is served just before the afternoon game drive and consists of something sweet and something savoury to see our guests through until dinner.
Tshukudu is renowned for its exceptional African cuisine. Meals are enjoyed on the main deck, in the intimate dining room or around the fire. Every night you step into a different dining experience where the chef will present his 5 course menu, accompanied by our field guides who share their experiences in the bush with our guests.
The lodge offers a range of leisure activities. Guests can relax in the rock plunge pool, socialize around the braai area or brave a special interest trail.
Rates include transfers between Bakubung and Tshukudu (one trip daily), accommodation, welcome drinks on arrival, high tea, two game drives, five-course dinner, brunch, and all local beverages.
Please note that the Lodge is situated high on a rocky outcrop, and to reach the cottages, guests are required to climb 132 steps, which makes the Lodge inaccessible to the physically challenged. There is no cell phone reception, TV or email communications at the lodge, but should you require any network connections, it can be arranged.
For any guests who may have special dietary requirements, please notify Reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
