The little beachside village of Gonubie lies at the beautiful estuary of the Gonubie River, just 8 km outside of East London. It is perfectly situated as a stopover en route to Cape Town and is the ideal base from which to explore the neighbouring towns of Cathcart, Stutterheim and King Williams Town. Things are relaxed here, and letting go of tension is easy, with the beach and lagoon offering hours of tranquility and sunshine.
