The villa offers four stylish rooms and a self-catering cottage; each stylish suite is set in this peaceful country estate in a tranquil and secure setting. All the rooms have their own private patios and free Wi-Fi.

Set in large and beautiful grounds, guests have access to the sparkling blue pool and outside lounge and lapa. Villa Helderberg is the ideal base from which to discover Somerset West, play a round of golf, explore the Stellenbosch wine route and of course visit the vibrant City of Cape Town.

We had a lovely 8 day stay at Helderberg Villa Guest House. The room was always neat and tidy, everything replenished and we woke up to a lovely breakfast prepared by Tamara every morning! Such lovely, helpful hosts that made us feel very comfortable and welcome! Keep up the good work! Thank you for such a great stay!

Fantastic Guest House by

We had a fantastic 28-day stay at Villa Helderberg. Our room was lovely, neat and tidy with a comfy bed. Tamara made a delicious breakfast or dinner whenever we requested and the lapa area and pool was perfect for relaxing on hot summer days. Tamara and Jan made us feel welcome from the minute we landed, they were truly fantastic hosts. We highly recommend Villa Helderberg and plan on staying there again for our next holiday.

Four strikes and you're out by

From booking to departure a disaster.  Left after one night. Jan did phone to apologise but it was too late. Lack of communication.

Leaving by

Rooms stank of strong air freshener or mold or mildew. We were a group of 10 and there was nowhere to sit together out of the cold.
