Barefoot Baracca is a comfortable log cabin situated in a secure complex, in the vibrant town of Ponta Do Oura, Mozambique.

This charming self catering cabin reflects the vibrant Mozambique colours and furnishings, and consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms, a private bathroom, an open-plan living area, with ceiling fans, a TV and a fully equipped kitchen.

There is a sunny deck area with outdoor furniture and braai facilities. The complex has a communal swimming pool and Barefoot Baracca is within easy walking distance to the beach. Secure parking is also available. All linen is provided. Please supply your own towels and camp chairs for long lazy days at the beach.

Activities in the area include swimming, kite surfing, jet skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing.

We stayed at Walkers Way for 3 nights for a weekend away. Comfortable, well furnished, 1 dbl, 2 singles, 1 bathroom, situated in the bush on the hill behind the beach and point. Nice and quiet, about 5 mins amble down to the beach. Serviced by friendly staff, perfect for self catering, and excellent value for the price. Didn't want to leave, I love Ponto. Would highly recommend Walkers Way.


Walkers way / Casa Bella by

We booked a five night stay but only stayed two.
On our arrival there was no electricity or water at the complex. The electrical supply from Maputo was disrupted and the complex generator had been removed for repair. We had not been advised by Safarinow or the owners that there was a problem prior to our arrival.
Obviously the appliances (fridge, lights, air cons, fans, stove etc) didn't work which is not what we expected and paid for or what was advertised as being supplied.
After the second uncomfortable night with no electricity and steady water supply we decided to return home.
The owner (Belinda Walker) was informed and she accepted no responsibility for this problem and is refusing to reimburse us for the accomodation. We would nor recommend utilizing this accomodation due to the owners lack of willingness to take responsibility for the problems encountered.
We paid for a fully serviced unit which is not what we encountered.
