Waterval Chalets offers rustic holiday accommodation on a working farm, situated on the banks of the Vals River, about 40 km from Kroonstad.

There are three self-catering chalets available, we have chalets with en-suite bathrooms as well as two separate bathroom rondavels and a kitchen area. Relax in the large lapa with a bar area, or outside by the Boma. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged on request only, as the chalets are fully equipped to prepare your own meals.

Some activities on the farm include fishing, bird-watching opportunities and beautiful sunsets for sundowners. The farm has a sense of old-world charm with no electricity.

Lovely Farm break by

Enjoyed a lovely weekend out of the city. Easy drive from Gauteng. Chalets clean and tidy with everything we needed. Beautiful setting on the river with the animals roaming around.
