Wendy's Country Lodge is a 4 star lodge situated in the heart of Zululand Mtubatuba which is the gateway to the Isimangaliso Wetlands and the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Parks. Wendy's Lodge is the most central to stay, if wishing to visit these wonderful and interesting places. Relax in beautifully decorated rooms with air-conditioning, tea trays and views of the garden. We cater for newly weds in romantic honeymoon suites and families in our comfortable garden unit. Enjoy a hearty English breakfast and a delicious three course dinner served every night except for Sundays. We have wireless Internet facilities and satellite TV. The lodge offers game drives into the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Parks. Experience a breakfast in the bush, whilst enjoying great viewing, magnificent scenery and the Big 5.

All meals, refreshments, and gate entrance fees are included. Bookings for boat cruises on the lake and many other activities birding, Zulu craft market in the area can be arranged from the lodge. Transfers from the Durban and Richards bay airports can be arranged from our front desk. Explore unspoilt beauty of the Zulu Kingdom. We have a security guard at the gate 24 hours plus cameras.

We thoroughly enjoyed our (all too short) stay with Wendy and Tony who were most hospitable as was Gavin whos Game Drive (with breakfast) was another highlight of our holiday

Excellent lodge by

Our second visit to Wendy's lodge was once again a perfect hit. This year, some renovation had also been made to the rooms (ceiling, light). A warm welcome by the hosts Jenny and Gavin in a very nice accomodation (beautiful rooms, living room, bar and garden). Great help by Lourina at the desk who also did a magnificent job as guide during the morning game drive at Umfolozi. Breakfast and dinner (supplementary) were excellent. All this at a reasonably price.

It is one of the most beautiful lodges I have visited.The lodge has an incredible garden - like a little paradise. Thanks to everybody for this great stay. We made only one mistake - we booked one night only. You have to stay longer!
