There are eleven lovely farm-style houses which can accommodate between two and seven guests. All of the houses have single, double or queen-size beds and private bathrooms. There are braai facilities and fully equipped kitchens available for all your self-catering needs.

The houses are located on a historic sheep farm and inspires a rustic and relaxed feel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Guests can visit the town and the many restaurants, cafes and shops on offer. They can also explore the many historic attractions and monuments.

Spending a holiday at the farm during spring time will offer guests an opportunity to admire the variety of flowers and other flora that bloom in this area. End the day off by having a relaxing braai while admiring the sunset.

We were pleasantly surprised by the helpful attitude of Erika and husband and the cleanliness of the bachelor flat which we had booked. We would be more than pleased to be able to stay there again when we visit again next year during the flower season.

Extraordinary by

We had an unforgettable two days at Willemsrivier Trekpad Guest Houses (Peperboom). The unit is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The inside braai (with a light) and all the braai utensils were truly appreciated. We bought our wood and meat from Erika at the farm. Excellent! The information booklet on the history of the farm and the old buildings add to the experience. Peperboom is an old but beautiful restored house. The plumbing and electricity is brand new and thus in splendid working condition ? and thanks for a reading light that makes it possible to actually read in bed! The flowers in Nieuwoudtville (and in and around Willemsrivier) are fabulous. Erika and Arend Kotze's knowledge of the flowers and the vicinity, as well as their hospitality, adds to the extraordinary experience.

The little museum on the farm was worthwhile to visit by

We only stayed one night but found the unit neat and clean. Everything that we needed was available and the electric blankets were gratefully used as it was a very cold night. Reception excellent and overall no complaints.

The cottage is lovely and rustic in finches and ancient places but it was very cold and the roof leaked in the kitchen. Would be awesome in summer.
