The Uvongo beach area is beautiful and the waterfall is spectacular. There are canoes on the lagoon and waves crashing through into the tidal pool. The Natal Parks Board operates the Skyline Nature Reserve in Uvongo. The River Reserve starts at the tennis courts in Uvongo and the Oribi Gorge is stunning. This is the region's most famous scenic drive.
