Woodlands Self-catering is set on a hill, overlooking an indigenous forest on the outskirts of Knysna. This country-style accommodation offers a peaceful setting along the famous Garden Route.

There are two suites available, a double and a family suite. Each beautifully furnished and offer lovely views of the sunset. The self-catering suites have fully fitted kitchens, lounges with a TV and DStv, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and private decks.

The suites have beautiful fynbos gardens, duck ponds, communal barbecue areas and fire pits. The property has a private forest walking trail guests are welcome to enjoy.

Absolutely wonderful. Nice, cosy, peaceful cottage where you could feel the attention paid to small details.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodlands. The suite is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped. Best of all, is the deck and its incredible view!

A haven with HEART! by

What a wonderful spot! Everything is beautifully designed and thought out, from the decor to the gardens. We loved our stay at Woodlands and would recommend it to others in a heartbeat! The only point I could possibly add is that the bed or luxuriously soft, which is only a problem if you require good spine support whilst sleeping. Otherwise: beyond lovely!!

From walking into he unit you know that the owners take meticulous care of it. It is clean, neat and tidy and more than what is expected. The owners are helpful and willing to assist where they can. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the Knysna area and in need of accommodation.

Woodlands Wonderland! by

What an awesome place! Accommodation first class, surroundings to die for. Our balcony with braai attached overlooked the forest, in which you could also take a short, safe hike. The gardens held amazing treasures. This place is truly a wonderland of peace and serenity and just the place to go if you want to recharge your batteries. We would go nowhere else, should we be back in the area.

Peace and tranquility by

Very peaceful. Nice for a breakaway. Far enough from Knysna to be "out of town", but close enough to go out and do things for a day.
