We had a good reception as we were travelling with a trailer and were quickly sorted out security wise. Room comfortable and warm.

I have stayed in many guest houses over the past year but Woodpecker must rate as one of the best value-for-money establishments I have stayed in. Friendly, efficient, clean, comfortable and a real home away from home. Great to wake up with the sound of the birds in the large tree.
