Zandriver Valley Lodge

Zandriver Valley Lodge is situated between the towns of Ladysmith and Van Reenen, along the Sandspruit River, and is the perfect halfway point between Durban and Johannesburg, just 2.5 kilometers off the N3.

The lodge accommodation comprises of three units, of which two units feature lounges with DStv, open-plan kitchens, and four-seater dining table, while one unit features a double bed, an open-plan bathroom, and a furnished deck. The property also offers guests a boma with braai facilities, a lapa equipped with DStv, and parking on the premises.

Guests can enjoy many great activities in the area, including game viewing of the Kudu and Impala, fishing, hiking the wondrous hills, and canoeing on the river. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, the wildlife will keep you company.

Mountain bikes are welcome (the roads are well-maintained, with beautiful surrounds), or go for a game drive in the comfort of your own vehicle. While you're in the area, be sure to make a turn at the well-known Zandspruit Padstal (biltong shop).
